250/300 gm - Dal(Yellow Toor Dal, Arhar)
3 tbsps - Desi Ghee
1 tbsps - Ginger(Adrakh)
1 tbsp - Panch Phutan(kala jeera, methi, jeera, sarason) add red chilli(1/2)
3 tbsp - Grated Coconut
1/2 tsp - Turmeric Powder
1 tsp - Sugar
3/4 ltr - Water
Salt to taste
500 gm - Mix Vegetables(brinjal, tomato, potato, papaya, pumpkin, green banana)

Method
1. Cooking Dalma in the Mud Handi Tastes better than cooked in Aluminium Handi.
2. It takes 20-25 mins for cooking.
3. You can serve with Hot Boiled Rice and Phulka.
4. Chilli, salt add as per your taste.
- Put Dal, water, turmeric, salt, sugar in the handi and boil it in the chulha till the dal gets half cooked.
- Add the cut vegetables and Smashed Ginger in the half cooked dal.
- it is cooked properly add the grated Coconuts.
- Take out the handi from the chulha once it is cooked.
- Take a frying pan add the ghee and panch phutan.
- Once it splutters before burning add it in the dal.
